“I've learned that postpartum fitness is more than how to recover from pregnancy or how to heal a diastasis. Jessie challenged me to question things like 'pre-baby body' and losing the 'baby weight.' I can't recommend the Academy enough!"

Chrstine McDowell
Certified Pregnancy and Postnatal Fitness Trainer

PFSA is for current (and aspiring) exercise and health practitioners who want to skillfully & safely coach pre/postnatal clients or patients in fitness, athletics, core and pelvic floor health.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY? Without perpetuating unnecessary harm, injury, OR disordered body image experiences.

The Ultimate Education in Perinatal Coaching

THE PRENATAL & POSTNATAL FITNESS SPECIALIST ACADEMIES are complete, separate certifications.

You will gain access to 2 complete courses and become CERTIFIED in both pregnancy & postpartum specialities.

This is NOT your "run of the mill" pre/postnatal certification. This is a DEEP DIVE into each population, so you can be BEST prepared to coach, train, and lead your perinatal & pelvic health clients to the absolute best results possible.

With PFSA, you'll be equipped to coach Prenatal AND Postnatal clients with confidence, retain your clients through these time periods, and power your profits with your elevated expertise.

What It's Like To Be In PFSA

You'll be qualified to:

“It was laid out beautifully. It was like plug and play. You made it so simple to implement. That was a driving force behind it all, too. I felt like I could do this. You make it so simple and easy that I felt confident in launching our programs.”

Rikki Cortese
Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise Specialist

“The courses I had done to that point felt like I was jumping through a hoop. Jessie’s course felt like she was reaching out to help me to help enrich and develop me as a professional and help me feel more competent working with a population that deserves to be honoured, recognized and approached competently.”

Amy Cooper
Perinatal Fitness Trainer

You Respect The Responsibility That Comes With Working With Pre/Postnatal Clients...

The truth is, most certifications and degrees don't teach you the necessary education to adequately coach perinatal clients.

Traditional education treats pregnant and postpartum clients as "special populations" and barely gives you 1-page of education on the pelvic floor.

Beyond that, most fitness certifications further instil harmful body beliefs and prioritize teaching methods.

But your perinatal & pelvic health clients DESERVE BETTER as they navigate these vulnerable periods in their bodies and lives.

With PFSA you'll learn how prioritize the big dial movers (and what to avoid) to elicit improved physical progress and better body confidence for your pregnant and postnatal clients.

The Results You'll Get With PFSA

It completely exceeded my expectations with the amount of knowledge she brought into the course. It really made me see things in a different way.  I really loved that I could go at my own pace.  I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who works with this population - you'll be glad you did it!"

Justine Veloza
Physical Therapist

It is actually the qualification that I feel the most proud of. I'm really excited to see what the universe has in store for me when it comes to sharing the knowledge! I already know I have helped one of my clients with life changing advise and all I did was listen to her, watch how she moved, and refer her to a pelvic floor physiotherapist."

You probably have questions. Here are all the answers.

PFSA is for fitness and health professionals who want to take action on becoming stronger, more effective coaches and clinicians for their pregnant, postpartum, and pelvic health clients and patients. Join if you’re a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, physiotherapist, physical therapist, chiropractor, Naturopathic Doctor, Athletic Therapist or anyone who works with / WANTS to work with perinatal folks.

Yes! This information is key and necessary when working in fitness and pelvic health for all people, regardless of the age of children or how long it has been since pregnancy. We consider postpartum to be forever, not just 3, 6, or 12 months after birth. There are considerations you may need to take into account when coaching postpartum folks of any stage for their diastasis recti, incontinence, breathing techniques, pelvic organ prolapse, and more.

Absolutely. Anyone looking to gain more in-depth knowledge of pregnancy and postpartum recovery, the core and pelvic floor is welcome and ENCOURAGED to take the course. Moms, physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, rehab providers, body workers, barre instructors, yoga teachers – you are likely already working with pregnant and postpartum people!

YES. Even if you work with a different variety of clients, athletes, seniors... EVERYONE you coach has a pelvic floor!

Plus, if you work with folks who have EVER been pregnant or given birth - even if it was decades ago - they are still postpartum. And, they still may be struggling with physical symptoms years later that YOU can now help them adjust!

Ahhhh, I get it! This is exactly how I felt before I starting working with pregnant and postpartum people, too. The thing is, it is a massive responsibility to train and treat prenatal & postnatal people well. And you CAN do - effectively and with excellent results.

But, you need the evidence based education and skills to do so. I'm going to teach you what to absolutely include AND what to avoid in the PFSA.

You definitely will! If you’ve been in this game long enough then I know you value continuing education. I’ve been coaching pregnant and postpartum clients for 15+ years and I’m pushed by my mentors to uplevel my skills constantly. I’d love to give you some nudges - and learn alongside you!

Each Module has approximately 2-3 hours of studying time. There are 11 total Modules (Prerequisites + 10 Modules), in EACH certification. You have TWO YEARS access to the course and ALL updates made to it in that time, so you’re welcome to go at your own pace to learn in the manner that is most effective for you.

Some people complete the PFSA certification by going through one Module per week, while others do one Module per month.

The timeline is all yours!

The Certs are pre-approved for CECs from NASM, ACE, and Can-Fit-Pro. If you are certified through a different organization, you will receive a certificate of completion upon successful passing of the final exam, which you can submit to your governing body for review to be awarded continuing education credits.

If you need any additional help with this process, we'll be happy to give further information.

Yes! An instalment plan with 6-monthly payments is available. Please note that all Canadians using the payment plans MUST pay via Stripe rather than PayPal (hello, CRA!).

PLEASE NOTE: There is a 7-Day refund policy. If you request a refund, we will check in with you to see if there is anyway we can best support you - as that's what we're here to do and truly want you to succeed with it! But, if we cannot resolve the issue, we'll happily provide the refund.

- Coach a pregnant or postpartum person in exercise, and to better core and pelvic floor health with CONFIDENCE

- Understand how to assess and progress a client with Diastasis Recti
