A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Prenatal Cert!

PFSA is for existing (and aspiring) exercise and health practitioners who want to safely & effectively coach pregnant populations in fitness and movement activities, plus, support folks to improved core and pelvic health.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY? Without causing unnecessary harm, injury, OR disordered body image experiences.

PFSA IS FOR:

The Ultimate Education in Prenatal Coaching:

THE PRENATAL FITNESS SPECIALIST ACADEMY is a online certification.

You will gain access to 11 Modules of coaching education and become CERTIFIED as a Prenatal Fitness Specialist.

This is NOT your 'run of the mill' prenatal certification. This is a DEEP DIVE into the population, so you can be BEST prepared to coach, train, and lead your pregnant & pelvic health clients to the absolute best results possible.

With PFSA, you'll be equipped to coach Prenatal clients with confidence, retain your clients through this time periods, and power your profits with your elevated expertise.

What It's Like To Be In PFSA

You will be qualified to:

You Respect The Responsibility That Comes With Working With Pregnant Clients...

The truth is, most certifications and degrees don't teach you the necessary education to adequately coach pregnant clients.

Traditional education treats pregnant clients as "special populations" and barely gives you 1-page of education on the pelvic floor.

Beyond that, most fitness certifications further instil harmful body beliefs and prioritize teaching methods.

But your prenatal & pelvic health clients DESERVE BETTER as they navigate these vulnerable periods in their bodies and lives.

With PFSA you'll learn how prioritize the big dial movers (and what to avoid) to elicit improved physical progress and better body confidence for your pregnant clients.

The Results You'll Get With PFSA

It completely exceeded my expectations with the amount of knowledge she brought into the course. It really made me see things in a different way.  I really loved that I could go at my own pace.  I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who works with this population - you'll be glad you did it!"

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You probably have questions. Here are all the answers.

PFSA is for fitness and health professionals who want to take action on becoming stronger, more effective coaches and clinicians for their pregnant clients patients. Join if you’re a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, physiotherapist, physical therapist, chiropractor, Naturopathic Doctor, Athletic Therapist or anyone who works with / WANTS to work with postpartum folks.

Yes! This information is key and necessary when working in fitness and pelvic health for all people, regardless of the age of children or how long it has been since pregnancy. We consider postpartum to be forever, not just 3, 6, or 12 months after birth. There are considerations you may need to take into account when coaching folks who have EVER BEEN PREGNANT, for their diastasis recti, incontinence, breathing techniques, pelvic organ prolapse, and more.

Absolutely. Anyone looking to gain more in-depth knowledge of pregnancy is welcome and ENCOURAGED to take the course. Moms, physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, rehab providers, body workers, barre instructors, yoga teachers.

YES. Even if you work with a different variety of clients, athletes, seniors... EVERYONE you coach has a core and pelvic floor!

Plus, if you work with folks who have EVER been pregnant or given birth - even if it was decades ago - there is so much you need to know about how their body was impacted at that time. And, they still may be struggling with physical symptoms years later that YOU can now help them adjust!

Ahhhh, I get it! This is exactly how I felt before I starting working with pregnant people, too. The thing is, it is a massive responsibility to train and treat prenatal people well. And you CAN do - effectively and with excellent results.

But, you need the evidence based education and skills to do so. I'm going to teach you what to absolutely include AND what to avoid in the PFSA.

You definitely will! If you’ve been in this game long enough then I know you value continuing education. I’ve been coaching pregnant clients for 15+ years and I’m pushed by my mentors to uplevel my skills constantly. I’d love to give you some nudges - and learn alongside you!

Each Module has approximately 2 hours of studying time. There are 11 total Modules (Prerequisites + 10 Modules). You have TWO YEARS access to the course and ALL updates made to it in that time, so you’re welcome to go at your own pace to learn in the manner that is most effective for you.

Some people complete the PFSA certification by going through one Module per week, while others do one Module per month.

The timeline is all yours!

The Prenatal Fitness Specialist Academy is approved for Continuing Education Credits by NASM, ACE, and Can-Fit-Pro. Additionally, some students have submitted their certificate of course passing to other governing bodies and been approved for credits that way.

If you need any additional help with this process, we'll be happy to give further information.

Yes! An instalment plan with 6-monthly payments is available. Please note that all Canadians using the payment plans MUST pay via Stripe rather than PayPal (hello, CRA!).

PLEASE NOTE: There is a 7-Day refund policy. If you request a refund, we will check in with you to see if there is anyway we can best support you - as that's what we're here to do and truly want you to succeed with it! But, if we cannot resolve the issue, we'll happily provide the refund.
