I have a handful of degrees that have helped to make me a specialist in prenatal and postnatal exercise, and I’ve helped thousands of parents receive the fitness TLC they deserve.
I am focused on effective exercise during pregnancy and postpartum, rehab of the core and pelvic floor, postpartum and C-section recovery, teaching people how to exercise in a way that feels truly good, and helping folks feel capable in their bodies.
My hope for you is that you get the care you need to feel comfortable in this current version of your body, build improved core and pelvic health, and ENJOY the sense of connectedness to your body that can come with increased STRENGTH.
You will need minimal exercise for all programs.
For To Strong and Beyond and Ready, Get Set you'll need: dumbbells (2-3 different sets), resistance bands (1-2 options), mini band or hip circle.
For Core + Floor Restore (Original and C-Section versions) you'll need: resistance band and mini band or hip circle.
TOTALLY GET IT. Same! I know your schedule is packed. I want exercise to FIT INTO YOUR LIFE. These workouts do just that.
The strength training workouts in To Strong and Beyond, and Ready, Get Set take between 20-30 minutes: from set-up, to warmup, to workout completion, and cooldown.
The mini movement circuits from Core + Floor Restore take about 5 minutes.
No problem! The truth is that you likely WILL miss a workout. That's what happens when you're living a full life.
Instead of beating yourself up about it or ghosting the program, I simply want you to get back into the plan as soon as you're able to. No stress - simply get right back to where you left off.
Any of these programs can be a good option for you if you are starting back to exercise after a hiatus, or starting a structured exercise program for the very first time!
The programs listed from least spicy to most spicy: 1). Core + Floor Restore, 2). To Strong and Beyond, 3). Ready, Get Set
I would recommend starting into the To Strong and Beyond program. I would also recommend purchasing the Core + Floor Restore program so you have it to use when you become postpartum. Take a look through the Core + Floor Restore program during your pregnancy so you're prepped and ready to use it within the first few weeks postpartum!
It's never too late! Addressing your core and pelvic floor health at any point can be wonderful and impactful. If you are experiencing core and pelvic floor symptoms or concerns, I would recommend starting with the Core + Floor Restore program.
You can do the Core + Floor Restore program, PLUS the To Strong and Beyond program OR the Ready, Get Set simultaneously.
Many of our clients are currently managing and various core and pelvic floor variations!
And while the experience is different for everyone, the goal is always for our folks to be able to strength train and challenge themselves optimally, without ramping up, or worsening symptoms.
If you are currently exercising in a way you enjoy and feels like "enough" for you, you don't need to add ANOTHER exercise program on.
That said, you could layer on the Core + Floor Restore program to any other exercise program you are currently working on, as it is very gentle.
